›University of Miyazaki Overview

UOM is comprised of four faculties, and six graduate schools, with approximately 1,400 staff and 5,500 students, including approximately 100 international students from 16 countries. The school consists of two campus: Kibana campus and Kiyotake campus. Agriculture, engineering, and education faculties arelocate on Kibana campus while the medical faculty and the college hospital arelocated on Kiyotake campus.

Campus Life
›The University Library

With a collection of 600,000 volumes, the library provides the necessary publications to support your learning and research. The libraryfs PC corner includes tables with power and Ethernet connections, computers for students' use inside the library, and more.

›Cafeteria and Bookstore:
The University Hall includes a cafeteria where you can enjoy inexpensive but delicious meals.
On the first floor, there are ATMs for Yucho Post Bank and Miyazaki Bank, where you can withrdraw or deposit money.
On the basement level, there is a bookstore selling textbooks, art supplies and electronic appliances. The bookstore also sells one day bus pass, ferry and airplane tickets, and reserve hotel rooms.

›Health Care At the Universityfs Health Care and Security Center:
Doctors, counselors, and nurses providing regular medical examinations, counseling, and health consultations.


›The Information Center Information Center is the place where you can print out your papers and reports. Most international students don't have printers, so please feel free to use it.

›Miyazaki University Foreign Students Association (MUFSA):
MUFSA is the foreign students' organization at the University of Miyazaki, with such activities as regular meetings, a welcome party for new students, and even a sports festival.
