Exchange Programs
As of 2011, the Faculty of Education and Culture of the University of Miyazaki
(UOM) is officially in partnership with three different universities overseas:
the Evergreen State College (Olympia WA, USA), Soochow University (Taipei,
Taiwan), and National Chengchi University (Taipei, Taiwan). UOM, as a whole,
also maintains academic partnerships with Sunchon National University（Korea）,
Chonbuk National University（Korea）, Nanjing Agricultural Univeristy（China）,
Shanghai Jiao Tong Univeristy（China）, Lingnan University（China）, and the
University of Ljubljana（Slovenia）. Tuition for UOM students at partner
universities are waived and vice versa. It is also possible to transfer
credits earned at partner universities to students’ home universities.

The committee currently comprises four faculty members supporting both incoming international students and outgoing Japanese students in various ways.

- Support Group for Student Exchange
This support group was established with a view to providing the financial support for self-funded exchange students. It currently has approximately 100 members and among them are: UOM faculty members from the Department of education and Culture, UOM affiliated schools, Mokusei-kai (UOM alumni association), and voluntary supporters outside the university.
