The exchange programs with YU werecarried out mainly around the Faculty of Technology. The Faculty of Educationand Culture joined the ‘Mutual Visit Program’ in 2002 by sending six studentsto YU. In 2006, the Faculty accepted one YU student for one year who came in‘International Education Association’ program. Since then, it has accepted onestudent each year for one year or ten months.Yeungnam UniversityYeungnam University is a private university located in South Ward of a large region inDaegu-shi. It was founded in 1967 by integrating Daegu University founded in 1947 andCheonggu University founded in 1950. It has 13 faculties, including Education,Agriculutre ・Veterinary medicine, Technology, Literature, Science, Law, Politics ・Management, Economics・Commercial, Medicine, Pharmacy, Home Economics, Arts,Music, and Cultural Education, 6 graduate schools with 68 Master’s courses and 45Doctor’s courses, and the night school. It has many attached facilities, including theUniversity library with more than 600,000 volumes.
