At eachuniversity, I had a meaningful time with various kinds of support from teachers andstudents. I still keep in touch with some of them. It was a true joy of life to go out ofSlovenia easily, as it is one of the member nations of EU with almost the same total areaas Shikoku in Japan.The third unforgettable experience was that I could put myself in such different cultureas Slovenia. Among EU countries, student exchanges are popular and the students frommany other countries were studying at UL. My roommate was from Spain. I learnedother languages and life styles not inthe viewpoint of ‘good or bad,’ but inthe viewpoint of ‘different.’ I wasalso stimulated by Japanesestudents whom I met in Ljubljana.There seems to be no end to thethings we talk about, such as abouteach other, Slovenia and other areas,and Japan.Looking back, five months atUniversity of Ljubljana was a seriesof new encounters. The encounterswith those whom I never met unless I went to Ljubljana became a great asset.(6) Foreign Students from non-sister CollegesThe Faculty of Education and Culture has accepted many students from collegesin other countries without a student exchange agreement. There can be someomissing in this list. I could not make the list of MU students who studied at thecolleges without an exchange agreement, because of the lack of information.
