- 114 -We also sent some MU teachers to Ghana for a short time as specialists.We accepted four science and mathematics teachers (two in 2000 and twoin 2001) so far. The training at MU includes the lectures of the subjectsby MU teachers, the on-the-spot inspections at university schools and publicschools. The prefectural education bureau also gave them training. We tryto train them so that what they learned here will help them to teach theirpupils in an easy-to-understand way soon after they go back to Ghana. Inaddition, five teachers of the Faculty of Education and Culture, MU visitedGhana as specialists to see the present situation of education in Ghana,where they made an inspection of schools and gave advice on teachingmethods. The global personal exchange gave us a good opportunity to reflecton the quality of our society and education.
