The foreign students ofMU and other vocational schools were invited. There were as many as 170participants.③ An international lecture（May, 1994）Mr. Stanley, a professor of Miyazaki Municipal University, gave a lecturewith the title, ‘The present situation of Veitnam.’ After his lecture withslides, there was an active question-and-answer session. There wereabout 70 people, Japanese and foreign.（ⅶ）Miyazaki Rotary Club① Yoneyama momorial scholarshipMiyazaki Rotary Club has supported many MU foreign studentsfinancially with ‘Yoneyama memorial scholarship.’ This scholarship hasthe purpose of supporting promising excellent foreign students who willplay an active part in the international society as a go-between for Japanand their home country. The yearly number of the scholarship recipientsall over Japan is 720.
