175international exchanges of the Faculty of Education and Culture havedeveloped. Many people have helped its exchange programs to develop,including successive deans, members of the SEC, advisors of exchangestudents, members of the SC, university officials in charge of the exchangeprograms, outside-the-university organizations which support foreignstudents of MU and others. I am glad that I was deeply involved in theexchange programs as a teacher of English Department and as President ofthe SEC for a long time. I am also proud of what I have done.I wish to express my gratitude to the countless number of people who haveoffered me information, advice, and materials. Even when I have notmentioned their names, they remain in the collective consciousness of theexchanges that I have been made.
