- 48 -*Though we concluded the exchange agreement, there were no exchangesof students between two institutions for two years. The exchangeagreement became invalid. Considering the possibility of sendingstudents to Otago University continuously is very low, we regrettablydecided to end the exchange program in May 2011.*In November 2014, MU concluded an agreement with the LanguageCenter of Otago University. MU keeps the connection with OtagoUniversity by sending students for one month to the language lessons ofthis Language Center. (see p.44)② Faculty Exchange*October 2007: Mr.Henry Johnson, a music professor of UO, gave a lectureto MU students of Music Department.*March 2009: Mr.Hirase and Ms.Keiko Shimojo, an SECmember and ateacher of English, visited UO for the research of thepossibility of starting the academic year in September.
