- 79 -continued his effort to connect MU with the universities he worked and he is working for.He concluded the exchange agreement with Kai Nan University in 2013, and then, withDa Yeh University in March 2015.He made such novel plans as follows and carried them out:‘International symposium (Support of simultaneous learning ofmultilanguage and multiculture),’ ‘The interim report meeting ofMaster’s theses with Soochow University,’ ‘Practice teaching abroad(at SU[Taiwan] and Sunchon University[Korea]),’ ‘Publication of aBulletin of JLS,’ ‘Invitation of researchers from other countries,’ ‘Alecture by President of publishing campany (Bonjin-sha) of Japaneselanguage education books,’ and ‘Visits to Japanese language school inEbino.’ Those around him were unconsciously dragged into theevents by his marvelous power of plan and action. After hisretirement from MU in March 2012, he was asked to work from 2012to 2014 at the Applied Japanese Language Department of Faculty ofHuman and Society, Kai Nan University, a private university locatedin Tao Yuan. In 2014, he moved to Da Yeh University, where he is playing a central role asDean of the Faculty of Foreign Language. He maintains the attitude to connect MU withhis present working university. As a result of his effortfs, MU concluded the exchangeagreement with Kai Nan University on March 15, 2013 and with Da Yeh University onMarch 28, 2015.
