- 80 -Faculty of Education and Culture of MU, the signing ceremony was carried outat Faculty of Education and Culture of MU on March 23, 2009.After conclusion of the agreement, the exchanges between our two instituteshave become more and more active and the relation has become closer year afteryear. Whenever the teachers of NCU, including Ms. Yu Nai Ming and myself,visited MU, they were welcomed warmly. Every year, two NCU students studyat MU as exchange students for one academic year. Many MU teachers andgraduate students visited NCU to give lectures or to participate in internationalsymposiums, including Mr. Kazuhiko Nagatomo, Mr. Shuichi Inoue, Mr. MinoruOkabayashi, Mr. Kiyoshi Hirase, Ms. Jin Shan Mei, Ms. Kumiko Fujii, Ms. RumiUmino, Ms. Noriko Nagai, Ms. Mariko Ono, and Ms. Tomoe Asaga. The MUexchange students at NCU not only study hard, but also enjoy club activities andthe dormitory life. They usually adapt themselves well into the NCUenvironment and bring about good results of international exchanges.I hope from the bottom of my heart that the circle of the exchange betweenour two institutes will spread far and wide in the future.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(4) Busan University of Foreign Studies (Busan-si, Korea)(ⅰ) Dean Kodama connectedIn the international symposium (Support of simultaneous learning of multilanguageand multi-culture) held at Soochow University in Taiwan in March2011, Mr. Zheng, Qi-Yong, Chairman of International Affairs Center of BusanUniversity of Foreign Studies (hereafter BUFS), met Mr. Osamu Kodama, Deanof Faculty of Education and Culture, MU. They discussed the possibility ofhaving exchange programs.(ⅱ) The conclusion of an exchange agreement (2011)In December 2011, the international symposium (Support of simultaneouslearning of multi-language and multi-culture) was held at the Faculty ofEducation and Culture, MU, where Mr. Zheng, Qi-Yong attended with Mr. Kim,Johng-Hee, Dean of the Faculty of Japanese Language.
