a-history-of-international-exchanges00

- 92 -with Miyazaki is very important to us, which Sunchon must treasure.I believe that the experience of international exchange in one’s youth canbe a great asset in his or her life. It will give them an opportunity to enjoy asmooth communication, to understand foreign cultures, and to get enoughnourishment to live together. The nourishment will, in turn, give them achance to grow. The exchanges among teachers of two universities will surelybe a stimulus and an encouragement to each other. In 2004, I started my new post at Sunchon National University. Sincethen, I have visited Miyazaki several times with a plenty of good memories. Igot a good impression of Miyazaki local food and Miyazaki shochu ‘Hyakunenno Kodoku,’ whose name I like, though I don’t drink much.
