The Department of Mechanical Design Systems Engineering, which has the fundamental principle of "manufacturing that is good for human beings and nature", aims to foster mechanical engineers with high standard of ethics who can create machines that will enrich peoples' lives, putting importance on harmony between human beings and nature. The Department, which is in the location blessed with a beautiful natural environment in Miyazaki where is rich in the green and the sunlight, works on development of machine technologies that meet social needs such as issues of environment and energy, and on advanced research that contributes to development of society.
