The SDG Summer Course Program 2026 by Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya aims to foster international collaboration
among leading urban planning institutions in Southeast Asia.
With the theme Urban Planning and Technology for Food Security, this program equips students with practical skills to address critical
sustainability challenges through interdisciplinary approaches.
We are delighted to invite twenty students/academics from your esteemed faculty to participate in this transformative initiative.
Proposed Program Dates (subject to your availability & mutual agreement):
■Online Component: 9-13 March 2026
■Offline Component: 4-8 April 2026 (Malang)
Program Structure:
1. Online Component
Virtual sessions focusing on food security applications:
・BMC (Business Model Canvas) for sustainable food systems
・Business Plan development for agri-tech ventures
・IoT applications in smart farming and supply chains
・Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for food production mapping
Speakers:
・Prof. Dr.Eng. Moch. Agus Choiron, ST., MT. (Mechanical Engineering - Design & Agritech Innovation)
・Prof. Dr.Eng. Fadly Usman, ST., MT. (Urban & Regional Planning - Spatial Food Security Planning)
2. Offline Component: A 5-day immersive program which include educational sessions, field programs, and leisure activities to
local attractions.

・Local transport (airport transfers, field trips)
・Accommodation + breakfast/lunch (5 days)
