What is SEKATEN-UX?

Summary of Exchange Program

This program is based on scientific thinking skills, multifaceted thinking skills, and bird's-eye view skills, which are cultivated in basic education centered on liberal arts, and consists of COIL-type education, intensive online learning, and TBL(Team Based Learning), which are combined in three steps(STEP1, Step2, Step3)to make education more substantial and efficient. In addition, this Program aims to improve communication skills and cross-cultural understanding through a Language Exchange Program using the Metaverse. SEKATEN-UX is the nickname for this project; SEKATEN is an abbreviation for "Inter-University Exchange Project" in Japanese and UX means "University Transformation.

Global Human Resource on the Project

We will develop global human resources who can challenge GX, equipped with intercultural understanding, multicultural conviviality, problem-finding, problem-solving, and problem-transmission skills.

What's GX?

GX stands for "Green Transformation. It' s a change or initiative to balance environmental protection and economic growth by utilizing clean energy that does not rely on fossil fuels. In addition to GX, SEKATEN-UX is expected to address diverse themes such as SDGs, multicultural coexistence, and cross-cultural understanding.
