多言語多文化教育研究センターは、各国の言語や文化に関する研究に基づく教育を推進し、国際性豊かな人材を育成するとともに、その成果を還元することにより社会の発展に寄与することを目的としています。関係部局と連携して専門分野を含めた多言語多文化に関する様々なプログラムを企画・実施し、学生・教職員を対象に課外語学プログラムの開講、資格試験や留学・研修に向けた語学学習の指導、異文化理解を促す取り組み等を積極的に行っています。外国人留学生の学習や生活を支える日本語教育にも力を入れています。
The purpose of the Center for Language and Cultural Studies is to promote education based research on a variety of languages and cultures to foster internationally-minded citizens. The Center aims to contribute to the development of a globalized society. By collaborating with other faculties and departments, the Center provides extra-curricular activities including language learning, cross-cultural understanding, and language proficiency test preparation for both students and faculty members. The Center also facilitates Japanese education for international students in order to support their study and life in Japan.
