【Held on July 21】Special Seminar on Veterinary Public Health Practice"Zoonotic Viruses"

On Friday, July 21, 2023, we will hold a special seminar on veterinary public health practice "Zoonotic Diseases Virus".

Rotavirus causes diarrhea and vomiting in infants and young children. Rotavirus also infects many mammals.
In recent years, there have been many reports of interspecific transmission between hosts, and it is attracting attention as a pathogen of zoonotic diseases.
Dr. Kobayashi was the first in the world to succeed in artificial synthesis of rotavirus, and its interspecies transmission,
He is a researcher from veterinary medicine who is expected to be applied to the development and research of rotavirus vaccines.
He will talk about the technology used for this artificial synthesis and its application.
