Regarding the recruitment for the CADIC 2025 Short-term Study Abroad Support Program.
Center for Animal Disease Control (CADIC) will provide support for students wishing to participate in short-term study abroad, training, and international conference presentations as part of the project for the mission realization strategy expenses, aimed at promoting the "Advance Program
for undergraduate and graduate student education".
This program aims to cultivate excellent students with an international perspective, and we are recruiting undergraduate and graduate students who wish to participate in short-term study abroad programs, training, or international conference presentations as described below. We encourage you to apply.
Purpose of Project | Aiming to cultivate outstanding students with an international perspective, we support students in short-term overseas study, training, and presentations at international conferences. |

Purpose of travel | I hope to study abroad/training/international conference presentations related to the biosecurity of livestock and zoonotic diseases overseas. |
Target/Number of People | Third-year students or graduate students at Miyazaki University. A few positions. |
Terms | 1) For short-term study abroad/internships, consult with your supervising instructor or other teachers ,and obtain preliminary acceptance (prospective acceptance) from the host institution. 2) Those who are recognized to have a language proficiency equivalent to CEFR level B1 or higher. ※The validity period for the scores of qualifications and certification exams is within two years from the start date of the public recruitment for this project. Please submit your transcript by one month before the start of the training. 3) Submission of a short-term study abroad report and presentation at a briefing will be mandatory. 4) Participating in the CADIC and International Quarantine coursework for the benefit year. |
Desired university / Desired academic conference | Explain the reasons for selection in the application form and during the interview. |
Subsidy target | Round-trip transportation costs, accommodation costs, and part of the training/academic participation fees (depending on the destination, approximately 150,000-300,000 yen will be included, to be determined after screening). |
Selection method | After reviewing application documents (distributed by CADIC), interviews will be held on the afternoon of Friday, June 6th (scheduled) to select the candidates. |
