Sumarry Feline parasitic infections pose a persistent threat to veterinary and public health in tropical urban regions. This study combines epidemiological mapping and molecular diagnostics to assess the prevalence and genetic diversity of key gastrointestinal and
ectoparasitic agents in domestic cats from Malang, Indonesia. From 170 examined samples, the most prevalent endoparasites
were Ancylostoma spp. (20.6%), Toxocara cati (19.4%), and Toxascaris leonina (7.6%), followed by Cystoisospora felis (5.8%), Dipylidium caninum (4.1%), Cystoisospora rivolta (3.5%), Strongyloides spp. (2.9%), and Toxoplasma gondii-like oocysts
(1.1%). Among ectoparasites, Ctenocephalides felis dominated (50.5%), with lower rates of Sarcoptes scabiei (3.5%), Felicola
subrostratus (1.1%), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (0.5%). PCR assays were developed and optimized for T. cati, Ancylostoma
spp., and C. felis using COX1 and ITS1 gene targets. Sequencing and phylogenetic analysis revealed high identity to global
isolates, indicating genetic conservation. These findings emphasize the utility of molecular surveillance for early detection and
  zoonotic risk mitigation.
