Guide for International Students

Immigration

International students are required to complete various procedures at the Immigration Bureau during their stay in Japan.

You can complete the procedures 1, 2, and 4 below at University of Miyazaki's Global Support Office (GSO). A University of Miyazaki (UoM) staff member will go to the Immigration Bureau to complete the procedures on your behalf. The dates when university staff will visit the Immigration Bureau will be posted on the bulletin board, so those who wish to use the service should come to the GSO as soon as possible.

The permit will automatically expire when the period of stay expires.
